Many A&E departments are operating at full capacity. The case of the Asklepios Clinic in Hamburg illustrates how doctors found themselves pushed to their limits within this system. They feared for the patients’ welfare. I produced anonymous portraits for this feature for a collaboration of Der Spiegel and ZDF Frontal.
