Körperbilder

I visited six female authors all over Germany to portray them for an article about body images.
It was a great trip and I was amazed at how similar the topics we dealt with were. What we all had in common was that the image of one's own body is or was associated with a lot of criticism, self-doubt and society's expectations. A common thread was looking at photos of ourselves from times past. Looking back, we all asked ourselves what we actually had to criticize about ourselves back then, and I hope that future generations will succeed in looking at themselves more lovingly and that society will be more accepting of all body shapes. There is certainly still a long way to go, but I think we have already started. Here you can see Andrea Heußinger, Constanze Kleis, Juliane Funke, Marlene Sørensen, Paula Lambert and Suse Kaloff. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your trust.
